Today I practiced for my Quentin gauge for his arm. I want his arm in the shoot to be very visible and for my prosthetics skills to show. The liquid latex I have used isn't the most high quality so I've had to work with what I've got to practice.
Firstly I added layer by layer to make the base, using a hairdryer in-between layers, then I created the walls by slitting down the middle with a sharp edged spatula. I then crunched the walls apart and smoothed these down. I then added supracolour red/black in between to make the redness. Then I completed this by using fake blood.

I felt I need to be more precise with my application next time, I definitely added too much blood to the gauge.
I want the sides to be neater and cleaner next time too.
